December 5, Pet insurance policies go up 10 since last year

December 4, 2010 by Trupanion, one of the largest insurance companies of pets in the United States, the average size of the pet insurance claims has increased nearly 10% in the last year.

This is a little surprising, since the economy has not really recovered. Normally when the economy is in recession people spent less on their pets. Therefore a 10% increase in veterinary expenses displays one of two things.

These people actually considered pets as part of the family or dependent on pet insurance to cover Bill.

In this case it seems that both are true. If these people pet insurance claims to reimburse the medical expenses of your pet, probably would have negotiated with the veterinarian a lower rate or fewer services.

According to the American Association of products in Pet, the amount that people would spend in Veterinary Clinic will probably increase from 12.04 billion in 2009 to 12.79 million by 2010.

If you are thinking of buying a pet insurance policy, make sure to compare prices of pet insurance and buy.
